    420Kbps would give you a download speed of 52.5KBytes per second, which is about as good as RADSL gets (from any supplier).

    Good idea, I think the speedtest results will be more representative of the problems if we run them between 6-12pm???

    you may need to unblock the site if you use a popup blocker
    firefox has a popup blocker built in

    tuxx:...about the past month man..I've been getting everything from 65kbps to 412kbps.....very frustrating....and usually it was on the bad side of 200

    Hmmmmm......looking like I spoke too soon.....just ran 4 tests

    Test 1: 203kbps

    Test 2: 283kbps

    Teast3: 320kbps

    Test4: 246 kbps

    Download speeds on UTV have never been to serious of an issue, I usually get between 35 and 40KB/S (whats that, about 290-380kbps?). Its the ping speeds that have always let them down, now more than ever. If they can get them on par with IOL, I think they would have an allround superior product on offer.

    I just got 345 from giganews and literally a couple of seconds after that i did the utvinernet speed test and got 155!!!! arrrrggggghhhh

    just got off the phone to utv tech support........told him my problems.....and he seemed to reckon that the new equipment that was installed this morning still hasn't bedded in yet and that I shoiuld be looking for some improvement either later tonight or tomorrow....what doe anybody reckon?????
    by the way it's 8:28 pm and my latest giga news test has gone pearshaped, more or less frozen at 25kbps!!!!!!!!!
