Network game

am trying to set up a network game of championship manager 03-04. Everyone who plays will have to have the latest patch. Some one will have to host the game and hopefully this will run shortly.

Can we use the team we are using in savegames or do we have to start with the default teams that we get at the start of the game?

Count me in too. I can't host. I haven't played CM in about 4 months so I'll have a bit of catching up to do to get used to tactics, etc.

I'd be interested depening on times but I think we should seed the teams picked and give the lower placed teams more money.

Or

We could have the top five clubs off limits, whoever gets Chelsea is going to win as long as they know what their doing.

Yes. I could host, but is 512/128 RADSL enough? Also, I've the patch that updates the players transfers upto February 1st, will I need to uninstall this or does it matter?

The patch I was talking about was "CMsorted0304update" it's a custom made one from CM Sorted. Their homepage

Are we allowing people to use big clubs? I think Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, United and Newcastle should be off limits.

Only the host needs to download the update but we all need to have the 4.1.5 patch.

Aye, I'll be available this weekend as long as its early (the earlier the better). We should all use MSN messenger to sort out the teams etc. Phenom, post up your hotmail address and whoever wants to play can add you to their contacts. Also, Post up a time and see who can make it.

You have 4.1.5, so you're grand. Only the host (Demeant0r) needs to download the cm sorted update.
