Running gear - bargains in Aldi

I notice that Aldi are offering a wide range of running gear this week in their stors (from Thursday 26th). I have bought stuff before from them in the bargain range - though not running gear - and found it to be of a high quality. I have also heard mention of good reports on runnersworld.co.uk for Aldi runner gear.

They are offering running jackets, t-shirts, shorts and runners. While i would not go near the footwear, the other stuff appears to be well made - Cool Max lining, polyester multifibres, Teflon etc, and well priced. They also have stopwatches. Looking at the items, I would say that they would also be suitable for cycling, etc.

Obviously you can't judge til you see them, but for now see here for more details.

Has anyone ever bought similar stuff before from either Aldi or Lidl?

Oh, they also have reflective bands (always important), and a runners drinks belt (which I have been looking for but not been able to find in regular sports stores here)
