    Pathetic.

    Pathetic

adj 1: deserving or inciting pity; "a hapless victim"; "miserable victims of war"; "the shabby room struck her as extraordinarily pathetic"- Galsworthy; "piteous appeals for help"; "pitiable homeless children"; "a pitiful fate"; "couldn't rescue the poor fellow"; "his poor distorted limbs"; "a wretched life" [syn: hapless, miserable, misfortunate, piteous, pitiable, pitiful, poor, wretched]

2: inspiring mixed contempt and pity; "their efforts were pathetic"; "pitiable lack of character"; "pitiful exhibition of cowardice" [syn: pitiable, pitiful]

3: inspiring scornful pity; "how silly an ardent and unsuccessful wooer can be especially if he is getting on in years"- Dashiell Hammett [syn: ridiculous, silly]

Well you're not pitiful or misfortunate oeNeo, but as the dictionary says in Fig 3, you definately are ridiculous :)

I'd rather be ridiculous than be retarded and have an obnoxious accent.

Seem to me that the northwest forums should be re-named the Donegal forums. Bollix noddy to Sligo and can anyone else remember the name of that other wee county somewhere near Donegal - begins with the letter K or L or something like that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,888 ✭✭✭nanook

ahhhh jimmy, you almost sound like a dubliner.

Welcome to the North West forum.

I notice the word chat in your post so just to let you know that this forum is usually a bit more about serious debates and the odd argument. Dont mistake it for a chat room
