Anybody know a good running shoe for slightly flat feet. I think I'm what's called a pronator.

Using Asics 2070 at present, and pleased with them but they're getting worn!

DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT GET ASICS 2080s. You might think that they are like the 2070s but they are not. I used to run in 2070s and switched to 2080s thinking they would be similar. One pair of 2080s I did 100 miles in and never used again, another i binned after 1 mile. I generally get 500 miles out of my runners.

Try NB765s they're nice, brooks and mizuno are being recommended this year as well but stay away from this seasons ASics, they're terrible.

I can echo all that tunney says. I was never happy with my 2080s. After about 200 miles I ended up with a potentially serious injury (which I think / hope / pray I am now over). I got a pair of New Balance 765s recently and they feel 10 times better.

Check out Runners World site (runnersworld.co.uk) and in the gear section you will find a guide to shoes according to shoe type. These are then reviewed. If you are looking for 'sale shoes' then make sure to check out archive reviews for 2002/ 2001 as well as the current season.

Thanks lads! Very useful information !

I've used Asics for the last 5 years and thought they were great , but I suppose they're cutting corners now , and selling on their name!
