Cayo looks fab. Put in my forms for bike2work scheme to get one :) CAN'T WAIT!

@ednwireland: why were you worried about the wheels?

cos i'm a fat b***t**d (105kg) i run a 36 spoke rear at the moment and just broke a spoke so 24 spoke seems a bit thin to me (and i live in donegal, crap roads) although wiggle told me its rated by them to 120kg
great bike though looks great rides great sounds weird (compared to metal frames) really light, love it (and my CF cages and lezyne pump)

    Ahem...back on topic..

Planet X Ti Pro road,Full Dura Ace 7900 group set,
Dura Ace 7850 SL wheels,FSA Orbit extreme pro ceramic headset,
Zipp Contour carbon handlebar,Zipp SL145 carbon stem.
Planet X stem, saddle and carbon cages.
Weighed in @7.81kg as you see it.

Lovingly brought to life by Mr.Skeffington.;)

Nice! Is it correct that the Planet X Ti frame is a Lynskey Cooper?

Lovely bike Tax man. Let me know how the wheels work out, have been eyeing them up for a while now. Aksiums are a solid wheel but just far too heavy, I think they are holding me back! (Any excuse for a new purchase).

The colors on that build go together really well, looks very classy!

The frame is indeed a Lynskey.

Looking at a Cooper on CRC my frame is slightly different,so I don't think it's one. Maybe Planet X get a custom frame made up,can't see an exact match on the Lynskey site.

Is that actually your own bike, like do you own it yourself (or did you just take a picture of it because you like the look of it) because if so you must be a Pro rider as that seems to me to be the Colavita team bike (as seen in the picture below)!

The image is hosted by roadbikereview.com.
Seeing as the after hours lads have been drooling over their own concepts of beauty thought occured that the cyclists could post images of their equipment. And of their dream bikes etc. happy viewing.

    Just got this today.....Luvley Jubley

Put on the pedals, bottle cages, cycle computer and tailpack which I had snuck into the garage without herself noticing. Thankfully she did'nt notice that the bike does not come with them. The bike cost a fair few "Wife units" though ;)

Nice bike...I'm even more impressed by the quality of the photos. Mind me asking what camera you were using?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 620 ✭✭✭Super Freak

Camera is a Canon 30D, about 5 years old now and still going strong.

It's the lens that makes all the difference. Believe it or not it was almost dark when I took those shots, F1.8 produces great shots in low light with great bokeh (Bakround blur). The third one is a little blurry as herself must have been drunk or something:p

    Canon 50mm F1.8

One of the best and cheapest lenses you can buy.

That would be the red tyres is it? They look very good I have to admit, really match the red detailing on the frame very well. Good luck with it, looks fantastic now! ;)
