Forget about the bike. The pad is awesome.

Aye. Although I did live up a rickety spiral staircase once. It caused almost daily bruising, sober!

Having said that I'd take both house and bike-the house for the bike :pac:

We can disagree on that at least.

I think the wallpaper matches the bike perfectly.

Don't say that about such a lovely bike!

Saw the most amazing restored 1970s Moulton racing bike today in Church Street & Christchurch. The owner mentioned he had it resprayed by Mercian recently. If it's yours and you are reading this, please post a few photos. If you are one of the Old Velos gang, have you seen it?

That's new to me Mercian Pro - would love to see it also. This is my last Saturday night contribution to 70's cycling - 1978 Gazelle Mondial Champion. Cyclists, especially club cyclists, note the mudguards (and Doc Martin boot tongue as splash guard)!

Keep an eye on the Oldvelos website and FB page as I think there are a few bikes to be posted there.

    Thanks.

Bringing on my PTSD now. All the rich lads had Burners, Strikers or Grifters while I had a 2nd hand Tomahawk with one white tyre...was like Angela's Ashes when I was growing up...

I have one of those frames in the attic along with the illusive 25mm seatpost. Has some BB issues that I never got around to getting sorted, so remains a future build.

Without red tyres and wheel decals it would have been much better. Still like it though, no nonsense racing bike.
