That edition of Richard's Bicycle Book is the one with the canicidal advice, unless I'm mistaken.

Found the part about dogs, suggestions are very practical, if not a bit mad.

1-If you can't climb at tree, find a rock or a branch, get a pump and ram it down the dogs throat.

2-(as in the link) dash a small dogs brains out.

3-Tangle and strangle the dog with your bike.

4-Kicks to the genitals and ribs.

5- If worst comes to worse, ram your whole arm down its throat, because better the arm than your throat.

He does suggest non violent ways first though, these are last resorts.

    Continuing with the BMC theme.....

My new roadracer SL01 (collected it today)
Full carbon with DT Swiss wheels & ultegra 6700.
Just need to adjust the saddle position and away we go! :)

@Plastik it's fantastic, well done. The only thing I would change, the cheap chinese bottle cages do not fit the bike ;) What's the weight?

AGHHHHHH........that rear fender is going to be on my mind for a long time:(

2mm higher at the caliper and I would be happy with it!!

    You, sir, are mental!

I'm glad one of us has a keen eye for detail anyway...can you imagine what it would have looked like if I had put it on?
