just to let you all know since being on the forum after getting magic 3.1 chip and finding impossible to install: slide card and boot disk arrived yesterday and works perfectly. you have to remove the front of the cd tray of the PS2 (1 screw) to use it. to play a backup etc, just boot up with the boot disk, use the card to…

just to let you all know since being on the forum after getting magic 3.1 chip and finding impossible to install:

slide card and boot disk arrived yesterday and works perfectly. you have to remove the front of the cd tray of the PS2 (1 screw) to use it.

to play a backup etc, just boot up with the boot disk, use the card to eject the tray and lock it again after swapping with your backup. its a very quick procedure and other than maybe wearing the motor out a little early on the machine it seems to be flawless.
