Hi i'm looking for these two pieces of music for someone

off the net if possible or if thats allowed perhaps you can pay to download just 1 or 2 tracks?

Prokofiev Sonata No. 6 (performed by Richter)

The five Piano concertos seem to be the most commonly available of Prokofiev's more serious works - did find this however.

And for Scriabbin, a search yielded even less - his sonata number 7 and 9 seem the more common.

no problem eomer thanks, my friend is going to seek prokofiev performed in the NCH and he does have the sonata already he was just interested in the performer by Richter.

Hello,
Scriabin's Piano sonatas are easy to obtain in a number of recordings: The best are by Vladimir Ashkenazy, the cheapest either the Naxos cd's (2, I think) and another box set I saw in Tower or HMV which has most of his piano works for under 10€.
The 5th Sonata was played recently at the NCH by Simon Trzcepin (sp?) along with some Prokofiev, I think, did anyone go?

The No. 9 "Black mass" sonata is one of the most disturbing pieces of music you're ever likely to hear. Ideal as background music for silent 1920's horror films..............
