Girl sent MMS pics of herself spread to her boyfriend. She cheated on him, he forwarded pics. It is now ALL over cork and reaching other places. She's famous, it's been in the examiner and her parents were interviewed on the radio. On the one hand, her life is probably ****ED up, on the other hand:

what would you really expect to happen if you sent out pictures of your bare crotch? Obviously someone is going to get hold of it sooner or later, other than the person it was intended for that is. I find it quite amazing that she didn't have the cop on to remove the rest of her school uniform after she had stripped off from the waist down. The ol' uniform kinda gives the game away...

Yep I think it would have been shot down too, that's why I queried it, people are talking about a real person here in Cork etc. However I don't have a problem with it either and after all its livened up the South forum a bit for starters.....

Someone asked (via the admins) to be added as a mod to this forum by the way, ostensibly with the intention of livening it up. I declined the offer (although it was ultimately the admins decision) because: a) I'd never heard of the poster; b) they'd never posted here; and c) cos I think that if the posters want to liven things up, they should just get on with it.

Anyone got a problem with that?

The pic has hit the main news sources today. Its in the papers and on the radio. The Gardai are investigating it and are using words like distribution of child pornography.

The ****s going to hit the fan for a few people.

The strange thing is they don't know who the girl is now, some girl was questioned and they said its not her... but maybe they said that to save embrassment.

You can't stop someone sending you a picture whether it's via e-mail/phone fax etc. but you can choose to bin it or keep it or forward it.

It seems to me that people didn't think/know she was underage.

Also, can the gardai not trace it? I heard on the Gerry Ryan show, they've been investigating this for the last four days, but haven't reached the stage of the investigation where they can trace it!!?? Why?

Also, there's reports the image originated in Cork and reports it originated in Dublin 15 area. It all is very Urban Legendy to me.

As for picture phones/mobile phones I agree with Rymus. You should be ID'd if you want to buy a phone, and parents should have more cop on than to give their kid a fúckin mobile phone.

This is too serious a subject to be taken lightly. I have not accused this site of anything illegal, but as some of the posters here have openly admitted to distributing this picture in the belief that it is of a local schoolgirl (whether she is overage or not )is imo deplorable.

My problem would be with the people distributing this picture and not this site for high lighting the problem. "Dont shoot the messenger" in other words

The guilty as charged commet was myself being guilty as charged by you of being on a hig horse about this issue. In other words as a parent of a teenage daughter myself I am disguted by "SOME "of the contributors to this thread.
