it seems everyone is kinda stuck as for a night out.
will it be 22nd or 23rd?
lets vote.....
im easy, either will do, but id prefere the 23rd.

mssr maguires isnt great methinks, but lets face it everywhere will be packed coz its nearly christmas so we'll go there anyway.

Ahh... just finished 2 day conference and am catchin up on the latest developments on the Xmas Party idea.

I thought the 21st was grand ... but 22nd as its Xmas and the drinkin budget is altered accordingly would also be fine ... i reckon tho that the 23rd..24th .. 25th etc.. is all just a bit too close to the whole spend time with family and loved ones thing ... and for ppl travelling up to Dublin its probs a bit much.

Anyhows .. 21 or 22 is grand by me ... and as for location ...

Fkit ... everywhere will be packed and we'll never be able to keep the night together anyway if all goes to plan

Trojan ... you are definitley getting a map for Xmas

The Longstone (which is right beside Turc's basically) .

1- get to the main entrance of Trinity College (i.e the one with the big archway and lots of lost lonely people hanging about outside it checkin watches and looking about hopefully for someone who will never arrive)

2- With your back to the main gates, walk to the right along the pavement staying beside the Trinity wall

3- Keep walking (about 200m) until you can see the Screen cinema (on the corner of D'olier st) which is the one with the small bronze statuette of an usher outside (you can't miss it)

4- Cross the road - stand with the main door of the screen cinema on your left and walk straight for about 100m. The Pub you just passed is the Long Stone.

5- Mc Turc's is on the same road - you'll find it no bother.
