How much weight can a standard bar take?

Right, I have a standard bar and approx 100 kg of plates. The bar is an Argos one, it weighs 6 kg and is the one that comes with the York 50 kg cast iron barbell/dumbell set.

I know this is a cheap bar - question is how much weight can it take before it bends/breaks? Obviously the bar can take at least 50 kg since that is the amount of weight that is included in the set. At the mo I've got 60 kg on it and it's fine but i'm wondering how much more I can put on.

If the bar can't take much more then I would seem to have two options
    1) Invest in Olympic plates and bars
    2) Stick with the standard plates that I have already but get a better quality bar. Is such a thing available - or are all standard bars of similar quality i.e. cheap?

    What do people think?

    Thx
