    Here's an idea...

Rather than have a boring, "POST WHAT YEW'R LISTANIN TA!" Thread, why not throw some comments and discussion on people's posts.
Let's have a bit of a different thread to the same old same old.
Try not to flame too much now.

Nice going on the Tool songs lads... :)

    does incubus count as metal?
    - if so, i have track 11 off make yourself (think its called i miss you) on permanent repeat at the moment-
it's possibly one of the most beautiful songs i've heard in ages- the lyrics are so unbelievably sweet! (ok, i know, it doesn't *really* count as a metal song, but that's what i'm listening to, so bleeeh!)

oh, and there's this one lyric on that album as well, on track 4, and it goes:

"don't let the world bring you down- not everyone here is that fúcked up and cold"

it's so perfect at the moment, as i'm in the middle of studying for exams, and it stops me getting all depressed and cranky whenever i hear that line!

    so, there you go!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,130 ✭✭✭✭Karl Hungus

No, Incubus definetly does NOT count as metal in any shape or form.
Pop-rock is a good term for it.

    Still listening to Blind Guardian.
Had to get it on import in Dublin.
Costly, so I'm damn well gonna get my money's worth, and listen to it FURIOUSLY!

And... You never got Anathema, immortie?
    Shame...

Although, I'm not sure exactly, the "Tope 3" was a bit rushed.
    Dunno, depends on my mood.
Anathema is great if I want to mellow out.

I like bands that can get the imagination going.
And Blind Guardian are really doing that for me right now.

Was listening to some Fields of the Nephilim earlier.
    Very good stuff indeed.

LOL... I wouldn't like to see that being played live... well actually I would but no one would last for more than 10 seconds in the pit. It would be a pure bloodbath.

I am now listening to Suffer Age by Fear Factory.
