Anybody else reading the new Dan Simmons book, "Ilium"? Simmons, if you don't know, wrote the marvellous Hyperion series about ten years ago and "Ilium", while probably not on that level, is a damn fine slice of intelligent Sci-Fi that demands attention. If you don't have it, go and buy. If you do, what do you think?
