Windows Problems

When windows loads it 'freezes up', everything appears on the desktop (icons) but in the bottom right corner it only shows the clock. All that happens now is the egg timer is displayed beside the cursor and the cursor will move.

Windows has to be restarted from the power button.

    Any ideas,

    AL.

Sounds like you might be using up all your resources, try typing msconfig in run and taking out any programs you dont need.
Also virus scans and adware scans might help.
