hey was anybody registering 2day, it was crazy, took me three hours to just pay a fee and get me photo taken and i was starving, feel sorry for any of ye that havent:D

Think thats bad i was meant to register last thursday but after a queing for an hour was told told go see one in charge of finance (where i had to wait for another two hours as she was in registration hall!) then i found out i have to pay an extra €1000 fee as well as registartion fee (any contirbutions helpful :rolleyes: )

And to top it all off i then was told sorry u can't register till next thursday so please come back then!!!

yeah id the same happen to me!! i went to register and then i was polietly told to pay an extra 1000!!! how nice - i wouldnt mind but i asked before i came back what had i to pay!! and i was told just the registration fee!!!

Just accecpted my place in Carlow IT and will be starting soon [once I find somewhere to live]

Took me 2.5 hours yesterday. Wish I could've reistered last week, then I might have been able to get a free wireless card but nope, all of them are gone!

one of the guys in my yr got a wireless card off the techies but told me to save myself the walk as they are all gone. They only have 8 as far as i know and he had it last yr and they just held on to it for him this yr.

It sucks how is the likes of me supposed to get one if they just keep holding on to them for the same cronies every yr :mad:

balbie: what the hell is that 1000 euro registration thing about? where that come from? find out why you have to pay it. id be goin ****ing mental if they said that to me. if its your first year and youre not repeating you shouldnd have to pay that?

winters: you shouldnd have too much trouble finding somewhere... theres things up everywhere advertising rooms... not garanteeing theyll all still be free or nice houses or retards your living with but you should be able to find somethin

Id say I will be down there, possibly by then. Got a copy of the acceptance from the cao today and am awaiting the collage to send me the stuff. Then i am *officially* as such accecpted.

Winters, there's always a few rooms for rent being advertised on noticeboards around the college. You could ring student services and ask them to email you the current accommodation list as well.

I'll need more infomation, such as the real name of said person, address (otherwise I may have to risk stalking), phone number, physical description (photo would b great), etc.
Also her social security number, so I can see if it is listed on any of the mental health registers.

Also; please note that most "lectures" are just that. They lecture. They copy and paste the stuff from the net, and read it out to you in class. Most of them are proberly only a day or two ahead of you in terms of notes.
Some are great, and know wot they're on about, but it's a rarity.
