For the past year i have had a problem with my hips.Sometimes after i play soccer they get really stiff for a few days.It was really bad last summer but it got better throughout the year but would flare up again if i took a whack on it or had a heavy fall in a game.when this happens if i stretch it ,it will kinda pop and feel much better.
Also when i stand normally my feet dont point forward but slightly to the side. When i try to point them forward it feels uncomfortable around my hip and groin.
The problem is not too bad and it has never caused me to miss a match cos when i get warmed up well it is usually gone. But i would just like to know what it is cos it is annoying and i dont want to go to a physio who might tell me just to rest for a while.

Could be the early stages of a problem with the ball and socket.

I know someone who had continual problems that were accentuated with age until it became a serious issue. Hip replacement and all was well.

Worst case scenario when you are older you may have a hip replacement to look forward to. Best case scenario - a little hypochodria is all it is.
