After being here over a year you should really know where the Films board is.

    Plan 9 From Outer Space

    Sabrina Goes To Rome.

Failing that, anything involving a member of the cast of Friends is usually tripe.

    ^^

anyway im not really to sure, theres just so many bad films that come on where i wish i could demand that i get that hour and a half of my life back, watch films at 3am on tv3 or the like and you'll get what i mean, those films where you know they are really bad when your watching them, but somehow manage to watch the rest... "well ive already watched the best part of it, im not gonna stop now", wait for it to get better and it never materialises (sp?)

Myself and my cousin went to see "Hulk" yesterday. I know its new and everything but I have to say it was the biggest load of bull that I have ever seen in my life. If you have not seen it yet I warn you DO NOT GO AND SEE IT! I had to wake my cousin at the end of the film for he had fallen asleep and I am not joking!

Thought "Run Lola Run" was a load of cack.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 9,035 Mod ✭✭✭✭mewso

Jaysus Run Lola Run was a great film. Even if you didn't like it surely theres worse out there. Anyway each to their own yada yada.*

Mines got to echo an earlier call - Eraserhead - pretentious twaddle of the highest order.

*get the feeling people like to name popular films to stir things up?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,277 ✭✭✭Smithers

that one that one of the minogues was in years and years ago , cant remeber the name , but as young as i was i remember switching it off after 5 minutes

    The Deliquents that was it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,889 ✭✭✭Third_Echelon

sorry... some people are not going to agree here... but

JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK....

what a load of rubbish... i couldn't wait for it to finish.... just boring cameo after cameo... and any film with James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leary from the creek) or whatever his name is, has to be a bad film....

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 52,389 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

Never ever bad mouth a Kevin Smith film again!

Hmm worst film? Tomb raider was really woeful. Thge 2 Cherlies Angels films. I know there are far worse but can't think of any now. Oh yeah Ghost Ship was fairly sh*t.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. For god sake Vanilla Ice was in it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,080 ✭✭✭✭Tusky

    Dungeons and dragons
    and donnie darko

I really dont think donnie darko was the 2nd worst film youve EVER seen ? have you only seen two films or are you just a moran ?

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 52,389 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

Airbud and Airbud strikes back. They are films about a dog that is great at basketball and ends up with the NBA. Sickening.

Mac and ME. An absolutely disgusting film that is so commercial it makes me want to vomit. Wow! who'd have thought that aliens can only live off coca cola (not pepsi). Produced and Directed by the coca cola company.

"28 Days Later" - just cos its recent, hyped and utter painful to watch. Plotline, characters dont these things mean anything???

some people love this film, why? the first half-hour uses up all the budget, then they go shopping, then there's the bizarre mansion scene (another 1/2 hour of pain) then unfortunately they live!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,698 ✭✭✭✭BlitzKrieg

Jingle all the way.....The only film i could find nothing to keep me in the cinema xcept my little cousin. I shudder every time i think of it.

-In 28 days later does anyone else think the alternative story they have on the dvd xtras (its done only in storyboard) is alot more chilling and disturbing then the chosen ending...

Generation X has to be the worst film ever. That and Scary Movie 2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,454 ✭✭✭weemcd

This is spinal tap. any mad max films. i havvve to turn those films off if they are on tv. i hated the mummy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,889 ✭✭✭Third_Echelon

spinal tap was genius... it was one of the funniest films ive ever seen..... it thought it was hilarious that the yanks actually thought that it was about a real band.... dumb @sses

have to agree though the mad max films were pretty cr@p and are very outdated now...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Worst film ever is not Plan 9 from Outer Space as its only about 70 mins long. Mad Max 2 rocks as does Spinal Tap.

My vote goes to Midnight Lace which sounds like a porn flick but was'nt but it did commit the greatest sin in entertainment - it bored. 2 hours where nothing happened often and very slowly.

    Mike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,518 ✭✭✭matrim

Eraserhead and Spinal Tap are great films, Although I still find it hard to watch Eraserhead on my own. Don't try to do this on a comedown.

Worst films are Johnny Mneumic (sp?), Keanu Reaves cannot act and Hudson Hawk

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,319 ✭✭✭sci0x

Ok the absolute worst film in existence must be "Mars Attacks". I found it terrible.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭LoneGunM@n

I'd have to say XXX ... god it was dire ... Vin Diesel is one of the most cardboard like actors ever!!

Without doubt my vote goes to the drug induced, filmed on video-tape, laugh-an-hour crapfest that is Frank Zappas 200 Motels .

I remember seeing it when I first started seriously 'getting into' films and thinking WOW THAT IS THE WORST FILM I'VE EVER SEEN! Many years and a LOT of films later and it STILL ranks number 1 on my list of 'worst of's'.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17 DevilFish

Samantha Janus aside, I'd have to say "Up and Under", the caption on the box said "a rollercoaster of laughs", I think I counted 2 (at most) mildly amusing moments.

I thought "The Insider" was dreadful aswell

    Tusky,
How the **** would you know what the worst film i have ever seen is.
Do you think you're in my head like being john malkovic or some ****e like that.
The thread is about the worst film you've ever seen. No-one asked you for your opinion on why someone else thinks a film is bad.
And Donnie Darko is THE worst film i have ever seen.
Just my opinion, but don't feel beat up that you might have liked it and you didn't
So quit slating people when they give their opinions.

Dont you just hate it when you insult someone's intelligence and then make a spelling mistake?
    Me too.

Anyway....probably Final Destination 2....so so so bad.

Actually it is definetly the worst movie I have ever seen.

    Dude, Where's My Car?

I saw Anger Management tonight. My God it was just so unfunny. Got to be up there as one of my worst.

Gangs Of New York aswell, although it's not the worst because Day Lewis did a great job.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,942 ✭✭✭Mac daddy

Freddy go Fingered. bad very bad film :ninja:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,446 ✭✭✭✭amp

    Spawn.

It pains me to even think back to it's sheer banility. My eyes scrunch up at the sides as I try to describe how much I depise it.

It's the closest I've ever come to walking out of a cinema before the end and punching the manager. And I've never done that.

I have a more general hatred towards most Hollywood films at the moment. The habit of two studios releasing the same film but with different actors seems to be spreading. Deep Impact vs Armageddon, Volcano vs the one with Pierce Brosnan, Bond film versus xXx versus Spy Kids versus slapstick spy film starring Jackie Chan or Eddie Murphy or that loser from Behind Enemy Lines....

GAHHHHHHHH! SOMEBODY GET QUENTIN TARANTINO SOME DRUGS AND A TYPEWRITER! STAT!

    Terminator 3.

Except the nuking of the world end scene.

But other than taht it was crap, so crap. Espicially the weak attempts at humour, do not go see it, it sucks, it blows, it shall burn in the flaming pits of repeats at Christmas.

Gone in 60 Seconds is the only film I've ever paid into where I actually considered asking for my money back.

As a William Gibson fan, it pains me to admit that the worst video I've ever rented is Johnny Mnemonic. The guy in the local video shop was lucky I didn't drag him across the counter and beat him until I got my money back it was so bad.
