During the DRF I mentioned Blue Sari as a possible plot for the county.
Now being backed off the boards for the Coral.
Will be wearing a tongue tie for the first time and is thrown in at the weights if he can find his form

Janika 40/1 6 places 33/1 7 Places is my bet of the week. Rated as high as 165 over fences. Has ran well at the festival in the past including when second to Siruh Du Lac in the 2019 Plate handicap. 20lbs lower over hurdles and looks huge value to me ew.

My biggest ew play of the festival. max bet ew

In the Grand Annual fancy Or Jaune do Somoza off bottom Weight with jack kennedy on board. Has some good form including when second to Farclas off 137 in 2019. Runs off 132 here. The drier the ground gets the better his chances but at 33s I am willing to take a chance. 2 pts ew.

Also done the mug treble of Bob Olinger Monkfish and Chacan.

Have gone in on Janika again at 33s 7 places.

Bob will be the winning or losing of day 2 for me.

Lots of short priced favs again so will likely take a few on again.

Kinda fancy a big monkfish and easyland double. I think easyland is a banker ones he stays up

I think I'm just going to bet on horses that win me money today (not that it's today, yet. It's still yesterday. But that's the beauty of Cheltenham, there's always tomorrow. Until Friday, or Saturday. I'm not sure which of those will be or is/was today, yesterday or the day after. I feel like the day after today. I'm not quite sure when Friday is or was, I wish today was tomorrow, with races to go, but I'm certain I don't want it to be Saturday. That wouldn't be Cheltenham.)

    1.20 Bravemansgame 7/2
    1.55 Dickie Driver 20/1 e/w
2.30 Koshari 8/1 e/w 6 places (and I'm thinking about Guard Your Dreams, but you know yourself about my thoughts)
    3.05 Chacun Pour Soi 5/6
    3.40 Hogans Height 25/1 e/w
    4.15 Ashutor 25/1 ew 5 places

I've never bet in Bumpers. It always seems like you're combining the yard with whatever the speccy fella in the pub told you. The guy with the newspaper under his arm who only has two pints. Is there more to Bumpers than this?

Any thoughts on Rachael Blackmore and Notebook in the 15:05 as an EW shout? Currently 40/1 on Betfair Sportsbook with a free odds boost to 45/1. 3 places at 1/5 odds with 10 runners.

Seems like an alright shout to me at that price?

So similar to today we have 4 short priced favs in Bob, Monkfish, Chacun and Easyland.....which one lets the mug accumulaters down? Monkfish and Easyland should be fine but not as confident on the other 2!

  • Registered Users Posts: 85,764 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

Any thoughts on Bear Ghylls, the name makes me think he could survive for an e/w place finish :p

Actually I think Monkfish and Chacan are the certs. Bob has tougher opposition (i still think he wins) and Easyland last run was stink.

If I had to lay one it would be easyland.

Chacun just because of Mullins poor record in the race. First flow e/w
