Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

UK vs USA Sheep - THE REVEAL

Who will come out on top of this Intercontinental collision, this Brit-Am Battle, this… well, you get the gist :pac:
Here is a quick reminder of the questions:
1. A city in the UK (not London)
2. A city in the USA (not New York)
3. A county in the UK beginning with the letter S
4. A state in the USA beginning with the letter M
5. A prime minister of the UK (1960-2000)
6. A president of the USA (1960-2000)
7. A team who has won the English Premier League (1995-2020)
8. A team who had won the Super Bowl (2010-2020)
9. A TV show based in London
10. A TV show based in New York
11. A famous building or landmark in the UK
12. A famous building or landmark in the USA
13. A UK singer/band who had a #1 song from 2018-2020
14. A USA singer/band who had a #1 song in 2020
15. A word that can either follow the word ‘British’ or ‘English’
16. A word that can follow the word ‘American’
At 6.45pm, I will reveal what the rules are in regard to the bonus point system, a part of the game that I had to - ahem - subtlety remind a few of you to nominate an answer for
And at 7pm, we will get started with the reveal properly

Before I reveal the answers, it’s time to reveal how the bonus point system is going to work
Quite simply, points will be awarded or deducted on a Double Or Nothing basis
If the bonus answer you nominated is a Sheep as predicted, then it will score you double points
However, if the answer you nominated is not a Sheep, then it will score you zero points
So, how are we feeling about our choices now…?

There were just five different answers submitted for this question, including the cities of Cardiff, Liverpool and Manchester. But did any of those three cities Sheep, and was anyone lucky enough to nominate the right answer as their bonus?

A wider spread of answers for this one, with cities on opposite sides of the country chosen, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC. One of these three answers is a big Sheep, but which one?

Lots of varied nominations for this one, including at least two that are definitely wrong. Good thing we’re playing Sheep, so they’ll score regardless. Pictured are three definitely correct answers, those being the picturesque counties of Staffordshire, Suffolk and Surrey.

Out of eight potential answers, seven of them were chosen. But which one did people gravitate towards? Was it the beautiful, coastal state of Maine, the hardest state to spell correctly, Massachusetts, or the state sharing its name with a well-known river, Mississippi?
