Have a group booking with a hotel for the 22nd. They looked for full payment last week or booking would be lost when a 50% deposit was paid a month before. Have we any rights in regards of cancelling due to today's announcement of covid 19 restrictions and guidelines?
    Thanks

no rights, but many hotels are allowing bookings to be deferred. So basically talk nicely and calmly to them and convince them to move the date.

Said I'd update here. Rang Monday and they gave a full refund. They were ringing those with bookings to check as well. Sound of them in fairness. Told them if we get to do the trip they'd be the first port of call. Western hotel Galway
