Selling now seems silly. Stocks will recover in time. Obviously slower than they lost value.

Our people assuming this Coronavirus is a month long thing?

I don’t agree with that assessment. I think it’s going to be far bigger.

Completely agree. I see this getting a lot worse than it currently is. I'm seriously considering pulling everything out of the markets and just sitting back for now.

I think there will be some serious bargains coming down the line.

Unless you are retiring in a couple months, I'd invest more now when the price is low and reap when things recover.

Just checked kerry group there, kept my head in the sand all week, I thought they would get a hammering but there at an all time high, hard to figure it out.I hold them as a long term investment so I don't panic too much about them.

Crude unknowledgeable analysis but maybe its because they are in food/food related business......people will always need to buy that regardless + it could become scarce and more profitable from other sources but they have a vast network to call upon and the ability t keep going where smaller business many struggle if this corona virus thing balloons as some think????

I'm just a newbie when it comes to investing in stocks etc, but when you say sell out now and buy back in later..... wouldn't you lose a ton on money having to pay CGT on any profit?

(be patient please...: I am new at this...

I sold TSLA just under $900, then broke even in F stock.
Now I think I am going to move towards travel based stock, it's down hardcore at the moment. Especially Boeing etc
