    Hey,

    I received an infraction for https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=112591148&postcount=2143
    Post in the off topic thread of the golf forum.

    The moderator in question has a history of singling me out and ignoring other, reported posts.

    Discussion via pm has failed to achieve resolution.

    The post was a light-hearted, tongue in cheek msg in a "lightly moderated" off topic thread.

    You can see numerous examples in this thread where consistent, targeted bullying towards me is either ignored or meet with a paltry yellow. No red cards or bans despite multiple warnings.

    FYI there are multiple on thread warnings between the below examples.
    I also have a pm discussion with one of the other mods from 2018 about the same thing. I won't post it here but can FWD if desired.
    It's constant goading, posting over the line and always ignored by moderator, despite many reports. All it does is encourage others to push it further and further resulting in car crash threads. All because of a difference of opinion.

    Well you specifically asked me to elaborate and provide evidence. If you aren't gong to entertain it, why ask?

    They were ignored in so far as no cards were given out. You don't hsve to be a mod to see a post being carded.

    I've looked at the recent moderator log for the Golf forum, there is no evidence that you were being singled out or unfairly targeted.
    I've redacted anything not relevant to this dispute obviously.

    Given the above, I am dismissing your claim that you were unfairly singled out.

    Indeed they are not, but cards are what other posters see and also what live on a persons profile record.
    The obvious thing to me from your list is that I'm the only one receiving a red card _other than a single banned idiot), whereas others receive at most a yellow for clear and obvious personal attacks. ( typically directed at me)

    What other posters see as regards moderator actions are none of their business, it has ever been thus. Yes it's unfortunate everyone (in your opinion) can't see bans or deleted posts or polite pms sent to people. This does not mean stuff is not being moderated.

    I get that the card stays on your profile, and that can be a source of resentment, nobody other than you and mods+ can see it though. Feck, I have one , I know.

    I'm appealing it on the grounds that out of the 30 moderator actions on thread that you so kindly provided, despite multiple "final warnings" only 1 person got a red card.

    Can you explain what circumstances you are referring to here and how they are in an way relevant? Seems like a totally bizarre thing to bring up tbh.

    I've yet to get an explanation as to who or how I was trolling, yet two clear examples, linked above, referencing me directly somehow failed to receive a red card.

    You have repeatedly had a go at the mod in this thread. I did not step in earlier as I wanted to see what was out there to understand why you were criticising the mod

    It is quite clear to me based on what I have seen in this thread and in the forum itself since you returned to it. Your behaviour has been way beyond anything you would have accepted when you were a mod, and you seem to have a vendetta against the current mod, possibly as a result of some pain you continue to feel after you ceased to mod the forum

    I'm not allowing this thread to go any further. Please stop trying to skirt the forum rules and in particular trying to extract some kind of "revenge" on the mod, despite that mod having done nothing to warrant such behaviour. You know exactly what you have been doing and if it continues you will find posting privileges removed altogether

    When I saw claims from you of "bullying" I wanted to understand exactly why you made such claims. It is very clear to me there is no basis for any such claim, and it is simply part of you trying to express your dissatisfaction at the fact you are no longer able to rule the forum in the way you once did

    Both cards upheld, and appeal is being marked as resolved
