I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to show what we do and use in order for people to get an idea of both at the one time if researching it. Jobs done every few months in brackets and are in that spot in the routine.

For me from start to finish:

/ Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel applied one alloy at a time
/ Power wash off using the Karcher K5 with dirt blaster lance
/ Gtechniq W4 snow foam applied using a dedicated snow foam lance
/ Leave to dwell and wash off
/ 2 bucket method wash with Gtechniq GWash and Meguiars lambswool mitt
    / Rinse
/ (Clay using Bilt Hamber clay and Gtechniq QD as lube)
    / (Wash and rinse)
/ (CarPro Tar X or Gtechniq W7 to remove tar)
    / (Rinse)
/ (Bilt Hamber Korrosol iron and fallout remover applied and left to dwell
    / (Wash and rinse)
/ Remove excess water with Gtechniq MF4 Drying towel
/ Using a Metro Blaster Sidekick, remove water from alloys/tyres/mirrors etc.
/ Gtechniq QD sprayed on and buffed on paint and glass
/ (Gtechniq C2V3 instead of QD every few weeks)
/ Take the car for a drive to get rid of any remaining water and to clean the brake discs
    / Dry off any water
/ Gtechniq QD on the alloys to remove marks from wet/flash-rust on discs
/ Open doors, boot, bonnet to clean and remove water and give the engine bay a wipe down and coat of QD
/ Meguiars Hot Shine Reflect tyre spray on tyres, leave for 10 mins and buff

It normally takes me 2 hours to do a normal weekly wash and with the other steps included, about 5 hours.

    Good idea. Here's mine.

Very, very quick wash would be wash down with power hose, Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam in a proper snow-foam Lance (left on for about 2 to 3 minutes) and rinsed off.

    The typical process would be
    * Rinse down with power hose
    * Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam applied to body, wheels and undercarriage. Its left for 2 to 3 minutes and rinsed.
    * 2 Bucket Wash with Bilt Hamber Auto-Wash and Microfiber Madness Imcredimitt or Incredipole, vehicle dependant.
    * Rinsed down.
    * Bilt Hamber Surfix diluted 1:3 sprayed into undercarriage, wheel arches, etc
    * Bilt Hamber Auto-Wheel applied to wheel and tyres, left until it turns purple. Agitated with Wheel Woolies dipped in wash bucket if needed and rinsed off.
    * Undercarriage rinsed off.
    * Wings re-rinsed after wheel wash.
    * (CarPro Tar-X applied to any tar spots I see, wings, wheels or as needed. Rinsed off and reapplied as needed)
    * (Bilt Hamber Korrisol applied all over and rinsed off)
    * (Clayed with a mix of CarPro clay cloth, CarPro Immolube and D'n'D Detailing medium clay)
    * (Washed with fresh mix of Bilt Hamber Auto-Wash and rinsed)
    * (Bilt Hamber Eraser and/or IPA applied and wiped off with a Microfiber Madness Dry-me-Crazy)
    * (CarPro Reload applied with Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile)
    * If brackets is not done, dry with Microfiber Madness Dry-me-Crazy.
    * CarPro PERL 1:1 applied to tyres, 1:3 to external black plastic
    * Door shuts wiped with Microfiber soaked in wash bucket contents, dried with another Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile
    * (Engine bay sprayed with Bilt Hamber Surfix 1:3, agitated with detailing brush, wiped off with damp microfiber, dried with another and CarPro PERL 1:3 applied).
    * (Interior Glass wiped with IPA and CarPro FogFight applied)
    * Bilt Hamber Auto-QD diltluted 1:3 applied with a Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile.
    * Top up windscreen washer with VW screen wash.

However, if I'm doing a motorhome, I won't apply the Tar-X to motorhome body or anywhere near graphics. No claying of graphics and apply CarPro PERL 1:5 to rear windows. I also turn down the pressure washer.

I may correct with polish as needed after the Eraser/IPA step also.

Edit, it's about 15 minutes for the quick, quick wash. It's about 2 hours for the regular wash and 4 to 5 hours for the wash. If doing a motorhome, it could take 10 hours or more. Getting under skylights is a right ba$tard to get to

    Pressure wash car all over.
Apply alloy wheel cleaner to wheels.
Apply TFR to lower 3rd of car.
    Rinse at pressure.

    2 bucket wash with mitt.

    Rinse.

On every 3rd wash or so, rinse with demon shine.

Car is an 08 mondeo estate which does 120 miles per day, not a a baby.

I'm not a detailer, and as stated, it's a mondeo which does high mileage.
Plenty of scratches already when I get it, I just wash it to keep On top of it as it is.

If it was a newer car it would get the top shelf treatment

Thought I might update my routine:

/ Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel applied to one alloy at a time
/ Power wash off using the Karcher K7 with rotor nozzle setting
/ Gtechniq W4 Foam/Bilt Hamber Auto Foam applied using a dedicated snow foam lance
/ (Small detailing brush used along window edges/trim/badges etc)
/ Leave to dwell and rinse off
/ 2 bucket method wash with Gtechniq GWash and Meguiars lambswool mitt
    / Rinse
/ Due to having diamond cut wheels, I have to remove the centre caps and dry out the BH auto wheel that tends to seep in. Having normal painted alloys would negate this as the paint would create a better seal around the centre cap.
/ (Clay using Bilt Hamber clay and Gtechniq QD as lube)
    / (Wash and rinse)
/ (CarPro Tar X or Gtechniq W7 to remove tar)
    / (Rinse)
/ (Gtechniq W6/Bilt Hamber Korrosol iron and fallout remover applied and left to dwell)
    / (Wash and rinse)
/ Remove excess water with Blo AIR GT Car Dryer
/ Gtechniq C2V3 applied to paintwork
/ Gtechniq QD Quick Detailer on all exterior glass
/ Open doors, boot, bonnet to clean and remove water and give the engine bay a wipe down and coat of QD
/ Meguiars Hot Shine Reflect tyre spray on tyres, leave for 10 mins and buff/Gtechniq T1

It normally takes me 2 hours to do a normal weekly wash and with the other steps included, about 5 hours.
