I was delayed by ~5 hrs recently and, while Ryanair weren't exactly advertising EU261, I have to say the claiming process was straightforward and quick - had the money in a week, including extra to cover a meal.

    An interesting one :

Flight delayed on arrival in Dub from CCF
    by over three hours

For flight delays over three hours, compensation is 250 per passenger

    https://www.aviationreg.ie/consumer-protection/air-passenger-rights.83.html

Delayed three hours and two minutes , got a PDF from Ryanair to confirm this.
interestingly in the email from Ryanair, RY recommend contacting travel insurance
and not RY for compensation, which is 250E per passenger

Claimed thru 261 link on RY website
who refused to compensate, their response at this stage, is the delay was less than three hours

    Rang RY no answer
Rang https://www.aviationreg.ie/Contact_Us/Default.76.html, who cant help as the Flight originated in France, not Ireland . They did confirm the flight delay was 3 hrs 8 mins

    Next step is call RY
    and/or
    french authorities
    https://ec.europa.eu/transport/sites/transport/files/2004_261_national_enforcement_bodies.pdf

Any resolution to this one? Got a PDF similar to this for a delayed flight back in April. Submitted a claim but have heard nothing since then

    Nearly there,

RY made it difficult for me to claim

I had to open another second case on their portal
I send their confirmation pdf that the flight delay was greater than 3 hours 3hr 2 min
I send confirmation from https://www.aviationreg.ie that the flight delay was greater than 3 hours 3hr 8 min

Ry then said they made a "mistake" by not paying the EU261 compensation, and have said they will pay (250 per pax)
I have submitted my bank ac details, waiting on the payment, which they say will take 10 days

    In general
I dont there there is a need to involve eu261 companies, that will pursue the claim, they take 20%
You will need to persevere with RY
    and / or
    use Resolver
or www.aviationreg.ie if the flight took off in Ireland
or the local equivalent aviationreg if the flight took off from another country
