A few of us were talking about people we remember being on TV when we were small but have now disappeared into the ether.
A few RTE people we covered were David Harvey of Crime Call, weatherman Ger Fleming and, as per the title, that "Independent Adjudicator from KPMG" guy that used to be on the lotto. "Good evening Terrence. - Good evening Ronan"

Does anyone know if he is still on it or who is actually is or what happened to him? I'm dying to find out.

Do I recall correctly he went from saying good evening to just giving a nod after a while

If memory serves me it was Alex (Alec?) Byrne from Stokes Kennedy Crowley ... who later merged with KPMG, so I think you're both right.

The got some guys from Coopers & Lybrand for a while, but when they became Price Waterhouse Coopers they switched it to Ernst & Young. But now that they're just called EY and nobody knows what that means, and KPMG Stokes Kennedy Crowley is too much of a mouthful, and the presenters were getting confused anyway so they said "Ah feck this" and sacked them all. The independent adjudicator now works for the newsagent in Donnybrook, and nobody cares what his name is so they don't bother showing him.
