Rainfall Warning for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Clare
Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 mm over the next 24 hours until Friday afternoon, possibly more in mountainous areas.

Very strong gusts here in Newport, Mayo. Road to Castlebar is covered in large pools of water as its been raining all day.

Plenty of rain 21.8mm so far in west connemara so far, couple of severe thundery showers and nasty winds gusting upto 72kp/H

Out of the country at the mo and watching this on the weather station

Rainfall so far in Galway city 12.6mm
Temp 14.8C from a high today of 18.1C
Fresh F5 westerly breeze gusting up to 56km/h

That was the rainfall recorded from midnight to 2305hrs
Full rainfall stats for Galway city weather yesterday were:
