St Patrick's Boy's National School Portarlington would like to welcome you to it's fundraiser on Sunday the 30th of May at the Portarlington GAA centre, this school puts a lot of work, time and effort into there pupils so I am delighted to help them raise much needed funds.
We are getting generous support from Poker in the Pub who have helped with the equipment, posters, tickets, etc,etc, and also the following donations are:Ladbrokes – poker table, chips, etc, etc
The Loft card club - €170 ticket for monthly game
The Eglinton - €150 ticket for monthly game
Jack and Jade LTD - (2 school uniforms)
paddypower (Portarlington) - 2 x €50 bet's
East End Hotel - Dinner for two
Eamonn Bracken Men's Wear (Portarlington) - €35 voucher
Paddy Walsh (Eddie's brother) - Free entry to game in Monasterevin, Co Kildare
A big thank you to all, I am sure I will have some more nice donations come in before the game starts in May. I will probably put the €170 ticket from the Loft in for the winner and the €150 ticket from The Eglinton in for second place, this money will be deducted and given to the school (the player can take the money if they wish, but the school wont be happy
) the rest of the prizes will go out in a €2 raffle.
The centre have told me that we will be in no hurry to leave, so this is why I am giving a good structure so players will certainly get value for money, be prepared for a long night :eek:

And just to make things clear, i am making no money from this event, any money from rake or reg fees from side games will be going to the school, the reg fee from the buy-in will be going towards finger food.

2. The purpose of the event - commercial.
3. Date and Location of event - Sunday May 30th, Portarlington GAA centre.
4. Registration and Start time of event - Reg @ 4pm for a 5pm start.
5. Any prerequisites - ALL welcome.
6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number - On the day, at the school or ring and reserve, 150 players max.
7. Type of Tournament - NL Hold'em.
8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc - €30 ENTRY and €20 for R/B and T/U.
9. Cost of registration - €5 (FOR FINGER FOOD).
10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund - 80% (20% for the school).
10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much - NO.
11. Any guarenteed prize pool - NO (€5,000 est).
12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels - 1 R/B & 1 T/U @ level 6 OR 2 R/B'S before level 6.
13. Starting Chips - 6,000.
14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts - R/B 6,000 T/U 10,000.
15. Blind levels - See below.
16. Blind timeframes - See below.
17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash - 10% & see above
18. Are there going to be dealers - and their level of skill - Final table.
19. Will there be a documented list of rules - Yes.
20. Is there a tournament director - Paddy Kelly.
21. How are disputes handled - who has final say - TD.
22. Are there any cash games offered, if so, please outline the rake for each limit offered - 5% & cap of €5 (The rake & any reg fees from side games will be going to the School).I am going to give the players the absolute best value for money (Only €35) you will not get a structure for this price EVER, so the antes may not be introduced (more than likely not) and levels may be replayed to give lots of play
