Best of luck with the new club Mark. Think you could do with adding a couple of blind levels, especially if you're capping the number of players at 40. Most tournaments offer 25/50, 75/150 and 150/300 levels. Skipping all of these will lead to a supercrapshoot less than 2 hours in.

As its going to be peoples first impression of the club, thats not what you want them to go home thinking.

Hi Tony , I would tend to agree with you about some of the levels but i really think
that the 25/50 level is pointless. Most of the games that i run dont have it and they
always seem to turn out ok without turning into a crapshoot.
This is the stucture for tonites game with a 20k stack.
    50-100
    100-200
    150-300
    200-400 30 min break(chip up)
    300-600

    500-1000
    800-1500
    1000-2000 10min break (chip up)
    2000-4000
    3000-6000
    4000-8000
    5000-10000
    8000-15000
    10000-20000
    15000-30000
Maybe for the smaller stack of 10k the 75/150 could be added to allow a bit of extra play
but you dont want players complaining about it dragging on either.
Mark is putting a lot of time into this place and he is definatly trying to make the place all about the player, but like every new place there is always small glitches that can be tweaked along the way.
It's always good to hear from you Tony and i hope to see in the club some time.

not sure about 30 mins break after 1 hours play either. Only just got there and then you are on break. reduce or move to later on. IMO

Good luck with this. If you PM me your club details I will add you to my poker ranking website.

Just for the record b4 any1 starts reading anything more into this.
I have no affilliation with the club, Mark has very kindly offered the use of the club to me when im running any bigger buy in games so as there is no time constraints on the games.

Yeah Damo, i agree with you on skipping some levels if you have a bigger starting stack and you are facing time constraints. Was just saying that for a 10k starting stack, going from 50/100 to 100/200 to 200/400 is a helluva jump. At least a 150/300 level would stop the huge jump between levels 2/3.

I've no experience at running events so i'm only throwing something out there. Good to see yourself getting a spot in a club for some games rather than being stuck in pubs. Will hope to get down someday for a game. Best of luck

Hey Ram , There is a €100 freezout every friday night. Last week was the opening night and there was 31 runners and plenty of cash action . Word is starting to get out about the place now ,so there should be more players this week.

I'll be there. I've misplaced my passport though so would college ID suffice?

    Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who turned up for our opening night. And sorry for our absence on boards. We were not actually absent at all but had technical difficulty posting and replying to threads on boards, the issues are all resolved. The problems were not due to any fault by boards, unfortunately it was inexperience and technical ineptness on our part, I couldn't figure out why the page was frozen in time from this computer. We have hired a manager at last and are now back posting again.

One last thing, we would like to thank Damien Kent (Damo72) very much for all his effort in replying to posts for us, only for him they would would not have been replied to at all. Thanks Damien.

The club is open 7 nights per week and if our manager should be posting our weekly schedule and upcoming events at the minute and in future.

    Everyone welcome.
