ParcelForce depot locations Ireland?

    Can anyone tell me if they have a depot in Ireland somewhere? Also for people who have used them before do they transfer to an post when they get here like some people.. Or do they deliver themselves? Just curious cause the package I ordered is sent out for delivery in Ireland but I wont be able to stay here all day..

    They use GLS and An Post to ship once the item arrives here

    actually now that I think about it I ordered stuff from them before 1st time it came by some guy in a van all the other times it was an post..

    hmm see im curious cause if it was an post they would leave the letter and I could collect later I live 5 mins from the depot..

    That insufficient/incorrect address..

    Do they leave like a notice they called or what? Ill ring them in the morning anyway!

    Well if the address was insufficient/incorrect then they couldnt leave a card as they couldnt find you.

    Well its in Carlow there going send it back down tomorrow! I was hoping it would be in Waterford I could have collected it now:( I had to give them my phone so could ring me!

    Can anyone tell me will GLS be open throughout the weekend and Christmas eve?

    I don't think my stuff is coming from the depot anytime soon and id really like to have it for Christmas :)

    Did you find out if GLS deliver Monday (xmas eve)?
    I'm expecting something from them too, assuming that's who handles it after Parcelforce get it into the country.

    Was wondering about this actually. Here is my tracking info:

    27-01-2010 19:06 London North West Depot On route to hub
    27-01-2010 16:48 London North West Depot Collected from customer


    Would love to get it today (friday) but looking at that it won't arrive today although it is the "Euro Priority Home Service" which says it takes two working days and it was sent out the 27th....It's 10:43 and no update or delivery yet from the last update as you can see....should I be expecting it today or will it be monday?
