speed up my pc

    hi, i was trying to download adobe flash 11 and now I have this speed up my pc virus showing up on my pc, any idea how to get rid of it?

    It's not a virus, it's probably just an additional program that you didn't uncheck when installing Flash.

    Or AVG, it has this "booster" crapware with it now.

    Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features and see if it's listed there. Right click and uninstall.

    Avg free has popups every now and then asking if you want booster, this or that. Decline all popups. AVG full trial, I don't know if that is installed by default. Or if the web install download does it automatically.
