Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    With immediate effect apparantly.

    439 wickets at 22.95

    Best bowler of his generation?

Anderson's longevity is amazing, but England play far more tests than anyone else so Broad and Anderson were always going to finish near the top of the most wickets column.

A 15 year test career, 439 wickets at an average of 22.95. Seriously good bowler and cricketer. Ultra accurate and competitive too. Great job.

Terrifying on his day, a great career.

    Great player yes

Best of his generation? I think that's something that can only be assessed in retrospect. When the current and next generations are winding down their careers is probably a better time to look back to those who are retiring at this time
