Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And you can find more - a google search will help.

Please don't contribute questions like: who is going to pay for that? Or statements like: it is unfair as there are people getting it who have loads of money. Or: the social welfare is already looking after the problems... Or I don't want to support people who do not want to work with my tax. Or nobody would work anymore, why should they? I am asking people to do their own research before posting anything negative that has no scientific background. We need to find out before we may make those statements. The above links might help.

I rather like you to think about what an unconditional basic income would do for you, how it would change your life and what opportunities it would give you. Would you change the job? Would you spend more time looking after someone how needs care? Would you become self employed which you did not dare to think about due to no safety net? Would you, as an unemployed, finally use your breathing space to restructure your life and find out what you really would like to work, rather than fulfilling the demands of the social welfare? I am just wondering and letting my imagination go wild. I think, these personal questions come first and second, there is the questions of how to put the UBI (universal basic income) into place or, at least a pilot project to find out what really would happen if, supported by science.

Please sign if you think it is worth supporting. If you don't - don't sign. Thanks.

I tried to find the best forum for this. I hope I was right here.

This really isn't a suitable OP.

It's not a request for discussion, it's a request to sign a petition

There is absolutely a discussion to be had about the merits of UBI, but this isn't the way to go about it.

    Closing this thread.

OP , feel free to open a new thread to discuss the political aspects of UBI and it's associated issues
