Jesus a lot of them really are generic this year, awful stuff.

Some nice plain jerseys now, no stupid swirls or fades or other crap.

    Limerick with no sponsor today

I don't think it's just today - that's the way it'll be for them this year AFAIK.

Wicklow looked to have a new jersey tonight with the new generic template of the 3 stripes on the shoulders. Horrendous Renault sponsor logo too.

At least the yellow of the Renault logo somewhat goes well with the other yellow on the jersey. Westmeath is awful in that respect

    Limerick with no sponsor today

It looked very nice with no sponsor in my opinion.

A few of the players could have done with going a size up though :pac:

Maybe the jerseys shrank in the wash.....

    Limerick with no sponsor today

For sale in Elvery's on Friday with no sponsor I noticed.

What's the story with no sponsor on Limerick jersey. I am sure they'd have no issue getting sponsorship, so what's the reason. Looks good tho!
Saw the Sligo jersey today live and it's superb. Nicest jersey in the country i'd say, but don't think they have the team to match it going on todays display!

Must have been over indulging in Mexico.

Back when Kildare were serious All-Ireland contenders, also when they nearly beat Armagh in 2002, I have a lot of fondness for the first black jersey, some of the Azzuri ones were dodgy though, I'd prefer if they stuck to black, it made them stand out.

I think the white shirt with black togs is class.

It's been something like 17 yrs since it's been seen in Sligo.

The team is sponsored this year by Adare Manor, JP McManus Hotel but he decided he didnt want the logo to appear on the jersey. Its on the training gear and leisure kit.

That's a thing of beauty. If they had done the same thing with the Roscommon one and not pissed around with a fade it'd have been just as nice.

That fade (as opposed to the colours) reminds me of those Wexford jerseys from the mid noughties.

    Yep, that's the one alright.

Always made me think that the colours ran while in the wash. :D

That's an actual fade rather than a line around the navel region!

Yeah - 17 years is right, see this article for more!

Limerick away jersey was worn by the footballers in London last week. Also a blue goalkeepers version in the photo.

The away jersey is a bit too similar to the home jersey...

I wonder did London wear their home jersey?

EDIT: London did wear their home jersey. It must have been tricky to distinguish between the two teams.

Tyrone played Louth in hurling league on Sunday and both sides changed jerseys - Tyrone to red and Louth to white.

Kind of makes sense in a strange way as it meant a block of red against a block of white rather than two red/white mixes

    Wicklow

This doesn't seem to have gotten any coverage anywhere. An interesting pattern and, for once, the Renault logo doesn't look too out of place.

Just like the team then, they don't exist apparently...

It's better looking there than other one views of it I've seen but not a patch on last years. Not sure if the hurlers have a different sponsor like last year, though O'Neills only sell the football one anyway.

The Wicklow hurlers are currently wearing the same jersey as last year with Wicklow Hospice on it instead of WH Scott, but I'm not sure if that's a temporary thing.

On the topic of hurling jerseys, a strange one is the Laois hurlers wearing their old jerseys (from about three or four years ago) during the Walsh Cup and against Galway in the league, but then wearing the newer ones against Waterford last weekend, especially given that they'd worn the newer ones last year.

It's the poor relation anyway, wouldn't be surprised if the new sponsor is just ironed on over the WH Scott logo to save a few bob for the footballers. Used to see people at matches in the Ring last year with hurling jerseys but no idea where they got them.

The Laois one is strange alright, they haven't changed at all this year have they? Maybe they were just getting a new batch that was late arriving.

Hurling in Kildare is a similar story. They're steadily getting more and more recognition, but it's still not strong at all in the south of the county.

Any images I've seen of the Wicklow hurlers from this year would suggest they're wearing new jerseys, the same design as before, but with Wicklow Hospice on them, a bit like how Carlow brought out a 'new' one last year that had no change in design to the previous jersey other than having IT Carlow on it instead of Tickets.ie. They surely must have sourced those hurling jerseys off panel members?

The current Laois jersey came out at the end of 2016, which makes that whole thing more peculiar. Generally a lot of the jerseys seem to go in three year cycles, unless it's a bigger county or there's a change in sponsor, so this is probably their last year using it. Who knows why Laois reverted to the previous one? You could be right!

The pattern on the Wicklow one seems a bit pointless. Each bit just floating away on its own.
