Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With the Rugby World Cup upon us we are now entering what is typically a very busy period for the rugby forum.

During this time there are usually quite a few new posters, so the mods would like to reiterate a few things.

Some posters may not be as knowledgeable as you are. Give them a break and don't be rude.

If you think someone is a troll, DO NOT REPLY TO THEM. The best way to handle a troll is to completely ignore them and report the post. If you respond, you are running the risk of getting infracted or banned yourself. Responding makes you part of the problem.

Never accuse someone of being a troll on a thread. That derails the thread. Posters who do this will be infracted and/or banned. It doesn't matter how subtle or indirect your accusation is. Backseat moderating will be met with bans - I can't stress that enough.

New posters - take a look through the threads to get a feel for how discussion works here. Provincial bickering won't be tolerated and you cannot abuse players, referees, commentators etc. Read the charter before posting.

If you cause problems you could see your access removed until the end of the next game, the end of the tournament or even permanently.

Ignorance isn't an acceptable excuse! This Policy is in place till the week after the World Cup finishes.

Please make sure you have a look at the forum charter
