Using Flexible Hoses in central Heating

    Hi All,

    Just what I hope will be a quick question.
    Does anyone have any experience with the using of Flexible Pipes in a Gas Boiler central heating system.
    I'm wondering if they'll be ok to use to connect to the coil in an Indirect Hot Water Cylinder.
    The ones from Excel Industries have a Max Operating Temp Rating of 80 Degrees Centigrade so seem like they'd be fine to use but just wondering if anyone on here has used these and what they think of them.

    I personally would never use, nor trust them. In saying that I have seen them connected directly to gas fired instant water heaters in parts of Europe.
    My concern would be if the gas boiler was to exceed the hose heat rating due to an issue at the boiler, or when the boiler is being run at full throttle during a service / safety check, then the hose could fail and you end up with a serious leak.
