Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Parking Laois & Kildare train stations

    Hi folks,

I did a search and most threads are a couple of years old, and I’ve no doubt the number of commuters has greatly increased since then!

I am currently in the process of buying in Laois and will be getting the train daily Monday to Friday. I would probably get a train no later than 7/7.15 a.m - What are the car parks like at around 7am in Portarlington, Kildare and Newbridge?

I used to go from Portlaoise years ago and I know it was packed even at 6.30 am - I doubt this has changed as the car park is so small there :-(

Any nuggets of information would be great - Thank you!

I can only speak for Newbridge but if you're at the Newbridge train station car park around 7am you're guaranteed a spot.

    Great, thanks Hasdanta.

Portlaoise and Portarlington are much more convenient; any idea what parking situations are like there currently?
