Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Krone 1250 - Oil Pump

Just replaced the oil pump on a Krone 1250. It doesnt appear to be pumping the oil for some reason. Reason for changing it was because the rubber on the end of the stem of the old pump had completely wore away.

The new pump when compared to the old pump is a lot harder to move up/down (even by hand) and what I have noticed is that even when the stem gets shoved up by the eccentric wheel is that it does not come down to quickly so I am of the feeling it is not getting a proper up-down motion going in order to properly pump oil to the chains.

Should this be normal with a new pump?? Any tips / suggestions are more than welcome....

    TIA

Is the filter inside the oil tank blocked? We're the whole time tinkering at the oiler on our 1250

No its not blocked. Just the new oil pump seems to be a lot stiffer to pump as compared to the old pump. I might try and move the rubber stub on the end of the stem on the new pump to the old pump and try it again.....
