Comet Swan : When will be the best time to see it from Ireland

    This looks like it might make it.


    Does anyone know when it will be best seen from Ireland? Specifically Dunshaughlin :)


    Probably 2 weeks from now?

    Comet Swan will start to move up on the horizon around the 18th of May it will peak 30th of May and start to fall again 31st then disappear entirely 21st June. It will rise into Perseus and fall into Auriga. At the peak it will be located just to the right of Capella the bright star at the top of Auriga. NNE - NNW. It will be extremely dim though magnitude of ~8.7 it will be very hard to see with the Naked eye (6.5 magnitude) the tail is extremely long so you may see it at dusk/dawn.
