Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Jokes aside the Zanzibar murder must have been bizarre, shot in the middle of the day outside a crowded house but a decent chunk of the crowd inside probably knew it was coming and barely reacted.

    Can't blame the family really, can't imagine what it's like to have a son murdered.

    Well the chap who’s father was murdered in 2009 and who is suspected of filming the famous incident attacking a certain ruthless individual, was previously accused on this thread of being involved in this incident, not clear at what level but I read an article recently where he was also “suspected” of shooting a person for a €50 drugs debt. Don’t believe that last part myself but don’t shoot the messenger

    Sanambar was murdered because his face was plastered all over the news in connection with the SL murder. Bosses probably felt he was bringing too much heat. Simple as that.

    Just to clarify, I meant that I don’t believe the person shot in this article was shot over a €50 debt. I would well believe this young lad is willing and capable though

    Sanambar was not named in any article in relation to Seans murder until after he was shot in Sean’s front garden. You think if the papers had named him he would have showed up to the wake?

    I'm guessing he went to the wake to keep appearances up or someone made him go and set him up. He was in the same gang as little and presumably hung out with him a lot. It would be weird not showing up to his wake.

    It’s a bit tough to explain pal. I’m afraid you have to read like the rest of us. Few summaries going around. How accurate they are, we are not sure. Nobody does, even the people posting them. A lot of assumptions and google detectives. There is plenty about this “feud” on you tube and twitter also. Look at the accounts where links are posted and you will find more. And p.s. I’m being polite here, normally you would get the head chewed off you for asking this question. It’s tough to follow but keep reading and try to check it often as it moves quickly and a lot of stuff gets deleted by the mods (who do a serious job to keep this thread going and stopping it from being shut down). Seriously though, everyone needs to read that first page before posting a single comment in this thread as it has potential legal ramifications which could actually help one of these suspects go free. Irish law is not nearly as strict as the US
