Bayside or baldoyle

Hi all, We are looking at buying a house in either baldoyle or bayside. We know baldoyle pretty well, but not so much Bayside. From driving around it looks amazing location wise. Could anyone share some light as to be general area, is it safe, good place to start a family in etc? Thanks in advance.
