Was just thinking if the sellers replies where in bold or some other distinguishable font it would be much easier to navigate long threads and avoid confision. sometimes people get mixed up in actually who is selling the item.

Would it be possible to add pictures to ads in the wanted section? If you are looking for something in particular having an ad that stands out would be beneficial.

I know its probably been mentioned loads of times already, but do you think it would be possible to disable people from selling on adverts until they have say a certain amount of posts or have been active for a certain amount of months..

Its just,i always see people who have just created new accounts and start posting ads with very cheap prices, then scamming the boards.ie users who hand over their hard earned cash.

Take the following for example
http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.ph...214205&cat=500

Im just wondering why it hasnt been tried already?

Flag old/stale ads

I'm probably missing it, but is there a way to flag ads that appear to no longer be available? Those threads with 'is this still available' and no response from the seller.

It would be nice to have the direct link to boards.ie the way we did in the past.

Notwithstanding that... it's great to see quotes in adverts.ie emails showing what posters have said. Very handy indeed

But it used to be on the adverts.ie start page.

Is it going to become a totally seperate entity eventually ? If so I'd understand not having the link to boards.

FYP. Several times ive wanted to go from adverts to boards's homepage and had to go through a series of clicks to get there.

Now smashey, give him his link!

This is me speaking in a personal capacity here and not officially.

I have tabs open for adverts and boards so can't see a problem.

I dont think anyone was calling it a problem. I think we were just saying it was nice to have... and we miss it.
