Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's £4.99 P&P for us. Still cheap for a razor and another good example to use a Revolut one-time virtual card to avoid the expensive subscriptions.

I was amused to find on the site that Gillette has invented a heated razor that you can pay a discounted £75 so that you don't actually have to run the razor under the hot water tap.

I ordered it using my Revolut and already it says dispatched and charged exactly 0 on my disposable card.

I’ll apply for another when the one they promised 5 years ago arrives.
I haven’t purchased any of their products since.
    Just principle.

I clicked on a random Instagram ad for a free Gillette razor a couple months back. The form was only for UK but I completed it for the laugh and duly forgot all about it.
Fast forward a couple weeks and what arrived at the door, a free Gillette razor.

Good deal if it arrives but still can't forgive the male bashing advert they done

If the razor gets blunt you'll get a lot of afterburn(er)

Just went through the motions with a "disposable" revolut card. The total came to 4.99 p&p but got dispatched email and nothing charged.

Mine arrived this morning, nothing charged.
Looks nice to be fair, I can only imagine how much a set of blades will cost for it!

Is this signing up for a subscription service? Do I need to cancel my subscription once I sign up?

Don't be buying them, they're crap razors.

    Got mine.. thanks

Mine has dispatched, do we need to cancel a subscription? I just presumed I'd be signed up to one but I see no option to cancel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,277 ✭✭✭km991148

    Yeah but where's the razor?

Only links to some plastic yoke :pac:

If you want a real bargain, grab a de handle and blades. Blades costs cents each. Don't need to go mad with all sorts of fancy soaps, handles and brushes. Your skin, pocket and even the environment will thank you in the long run.

Women’s razors in Aldi are the best. They’re sharper and last longer than mens disposable razors.

    Gotta love BA!

‘Tesco are selling bananas half price’.
‘Bananas? Bananas are crap. Buy an apple’.
    ‘SuperValu sells apples’.

I just used a one-off virtual card in Revolut.

It's very sneaky of them to suggest you pay a P&P charge but they don't actually apply it. But I'm sneakier.

Same here, this is for the razors subscription that you signed up for while getting the free set.

  • Registered Users Posts: 134 ✭✭112143

From what I can see there is no way to cancel.

The least one should expect is a razor, or some blades even. :D
£10.19 in return for nothing wasn't a great bargain. :D:D

Click "My Account", then "subscriptions", there is an option to cancel there.
