Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is 1 hour and 40 minutes enough time to change flights in Helsinki?

We are planning on flying DUB-HEL-LED, there is a 1 hour and 40 minute window to change flights.

The ticket will be booked on the same ticket, from the same airline (finnair.fi), and the flight from DUB arrives in T2 in HEL and the flight from HEL to LED leaves from the same terminal.

Will we have to clear Schengen immigration in HEL and go through another kind of "preclearance" for Russia.

We want to go to St Petersburg becasue it's now one of the e-visa cities for Irish citizens, but unfortunately, there's no direct flights there.

You can only fly direct from Dublin to Moscow and that's not one of the e-visa cities.

When I had to clear Schengen in Helsinki it took about three minutes - but why would you be clearing it to go non-Schengen to non-Schengen?

As its on a single ticket I'd be happy with that connect time.

I have spent a lot of time in Helsinki airport, you have more than enough time.
Probably have time for a bit to eat too! :)

You won't have to clear security so no gate in Helsinki will be more than 5 minutes from your arrival gate. It's a great airport to transit through.
