Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I want to visit here and see an unmarked grave.

    I have the person's details and date of death. Is there a caretaker(?) there who would be able to give me the grave reference? Cant find it anywhere else.

    AFAIK McKee barracks are involved in the upkeep of it. Someone there might know.

    Nice little cemetery, I used to being classes there when I used to be a teacher.

    I did what Spurious suggested and emailed the OPW, giving them the details of my Granduncle's date of death, address etc.

    Within half an hour I had back the full plot details from the Burial Register and details on how to view the Register and also the Cemetery map in the Park Office in the Phoenix Park.

    Called there this morning and photographed the Register and Map - really helpful staff member. Told me they get lots of visitors for this kind of info.

    You would really need to see the map as plot numbers can be duplicated, i.e. the same number is used on several occasions. E.g. you could have a Plot No. "X" in the Catholic section and a Plot No. "X" in the Church of Ireland Section and a Plot No. "X" in the Methodist Section etc.

    Didn't have time to go to the cemetery today, but will in the coming days.

    Visited cemetery. If the grave you're looking for has a headstone, no problem. However if you are looking for a grave without a headstone, finding it is very difficult.
    There are no markers/reference points like in other cemeteries. The row was easy enough, but I had to step out the actual plot using the main path and a tree on it. Thankfully I had the images of the map on my phone.
