Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

a girl i know is afraid of water, she had a bad experience as a kid where she nearly drowned in a swimming pool and has not got over it. she went for lessons but ended up just walking it.

just wondering is there anything i could do? like if i brought her swimming what could i do to help her overcome her fear.

Get her to keep breathing. Panic sets in when you hold your breath. Try to get her do do breathing exercises. Sit in the pool with the water level just at her bottom lip and get here to blow the water away. Then lower her head a little and breathe out under water and in out of the water.
