Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

"floaters" in the sea

I went for a swim out at 40 Foot yesterday for the first time. It was very busy as there was some sort of charity event on, so after getting in I headed around to Sandycove. About half way around I came across some 'floaters' of the sort normally found in the toilet bowl so did a swift u-turn and headed back. The image is burned into my mind.

I know there was heavy rain over the last few days and I'm sure something somewhere backed up, but that doesn't make it any more pleasant.

Is there a website somewhere which shows the location of problematic outfalls along the coast at Dublin ? I was a little surprised that there was no warning or nothing visible (other than the floaters) at 40 Foot.
