Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Punk/Metal/Noise Rock Madness

    Hi,

    I've been trying for years at this stage to find like minded musicians to join forces with in creating some noisy madness! I'm a hard hitting drummer btw.. but I can play bass and guitar, do some composition too.

    Influences for this project would be Melvins, Metz, Girl Band, Tomahawk, Nirvana, Jesus Lizard.. no wanky rock ****e.. I want dissonance, noise, loud.. preferably with a good dose of off-time stuff as well.

    It seems very difficult to find musicians that are decent and on the same page.. I have been trying for years to put this kind of project together.. had some success, but then people moved away. I was inspired by seeing Daughters last weekend in the Button Factory, so I'm having another go at looking for musicians. I can send you some stuff I did via PM if you are interested.

    There has to be some crazy noise hounds like myself out there! :rolleyes:

    Here's a tune I did for a college project a few years back. It's not really the sound I'm looking to do for this project, but just to get an idea of my drumming. I did everything on this and recorded/mixed it https://tbcmusic.bandcamp.com/releases

    Hey man. Plan on jamming in/around Dublin, preferably north side, I'm based in Stoneybatter. Do you have anything recorded? If so, drop me a dm.

    Thanks.. that was basic enough.. I plan on doing much heavier than this style.. I have more recent stuff closer to what I'd like to do, but don't have it online. Might see if I can put something up.

    Ok, here's the most recent project I've worked on.. this is pretty much the kind of sound I'm going for.. at least this heavy anyway.. not necessarily this tempo though, more punk elements would be nice too.
