    - Featuring:
    ART NEVILLE
(born Arthur Lanon Neville, 17 December 1937, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; keyboards, vocals) Art was originally the leader of the Hawkettes, whose 1954 Chess Records hit "Mardi Gras Mambo" has become a New Orleans standard, reissued every year at Mardi Gras time. From 1957 he released solo singles on Specialty Records, and in the early 60s, both he and Aaron worked (separately) for the legendary producer Allen Toussaint.

In 1968 Art formed The Meters, one of the Crescent City's most innovative and respected outfits. Featuring Leo Nocentelli (guitar), George Porter (bass), Joseph Modeliste (drums) and, later, CYRIL NEVILLE (born 10 January 1948, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; vocals), they were New Orleans' answer to Booker T. And The MGs, and besides their own albums, they could be heard on early 1970s releases by Paul McCartney, Robert Palmer, LaBelle and Dr. John.

The Wild Tchoupitoulas was a transitional album released in 1976 and featuring the Meters rhythm section and all four Neville Brothers; by 1978 they were officially a group – THE NEVILLE BROTHERS were born.

    CHARLES NEVILLE
(born 28 December 1938, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; saxophone, flute)
    · In advance of forming The Wild Tchoupitoulas and then The Neville Brothers, Charles had been working as part of the Dew Drop Inn's house band with many legendary names: B.B. King, Bobby Bland and Ray Charles, among them.

    · His brothers affectionately refer to him as "The Horn Man". His saxophone helped The Neville Brothers win a Grammy in 1989 for his haunting rendition of ‘Healing Chant’ on their 1989 ‘Yellow Moon’ album.

    AARON NEVILLE
(born 24 January 1941, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; vocals, keyboards) Often compared to Sam Cooke in terms of his vocal style. Aaron had emerged from vocal group the Avalons, and had a R&B hit in 1960 with Toussaint's "Over You".

In 1967 that he achieved fame with the soul ballad "Tell It Like It Is', a million-seller that reached number 2 in the U.S. charts.

Along with his success in The Neville Brothers, Aaron has also had concurrent solo successes most notably with the massive Linda Ronstadt duet ‘Don’t Know Much’ that went to Number 2 on both sides of the Atlantic in 1989 and which also won them both a Grammy Award for ‘Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal’. Further Grammy success with Ronstadt followed in 1990 with ‘All My Life’.

Aaron teamed up with Trish Yearwood for their ‘I Fall To Pieces’ duet in 1994 which one ‘Best Country Vocal Contribution’ earning him his fourth Grammy Award.
